The Youth Council has selected the D.O.O.R. (Discovering Opportunities for Outreach and Reflection) program in Atlanta, GA.

The Stock sale should commence Sunday, so Lakeside be ready to support our youth on this wonderful mission adventure.

We will leave early on Sunday in order to arrive by 6:00 PM at the church we will be staying at in Atlanta. We will spend the days working in various ministries in Atlanta and the evenings in educational and worshipful reflection on our experience. Wednesday we will have the night off to do some activities around Atlanta. Friday the door program ends at noon and we will go to Six-Flags in Atlanta and stay over the night and come home on Saturday.

The DOOR program attempts to sensitize youth to the situation of other people in the world. The mix of social factors in Atlanta should help our youth to understand just haw difficult it is for some people to survive. Please support our youth as they forge into this eye opening experience.
