Music Ministry

		The Music Ministries of Lakeside play an important role in worship services, church celebrations, as well as Lenten and Christmas concerts. The genre of music ranges from traditional hymns to contemporary praise & worship. Lakeside has been blessed with many talented singers and musicians who use their gifts to praise the Lord through music.

		The Chancel Choir is open to ages twelve and up. They practice on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. Special musicals are performed during the holidays. Contact the Music Director for more information about how to become a part of this wonderful ministry.
	The Joy Ringers practice Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. They are directed by Margaret Ratliff. No experience is necessary to join the Handbell program. This group performs in worship services and attends a state handbell festival each year.


		The children's choir, Peace Singers, includes Grades K-6. They practice and learn new songs with the Music Director on Sunday morning before Sunday School. They perform for the congregation periodically throughout the year.
